Michelle, I had to re-write my comment! Sorry! The drawings you selected was a great choice for your blog! The renderings of the figure are very interesting in value, color, high and low lights. Even though you mentioned they depict motion the figures seem to be in stable positions? When I think of motion being depicted with figures I think of hair blowing? Reaching for something? These figures seem to be stuck in a position? These are also very interestng because it depicts really heavy emotion.
